ONTARIO TIGERS BASEBALL CLUB
The Ontario Tigers Baseball Club is a high-performance baseball club based in Burlington, Canada, playing in an independant league. Our goal is to provide each of our players with structured baseball development, an exceptional training experience, with an opportunity to participate in the most competitive travel baseball tournaments in North America.
For the coming baseball season, the Ontario Tigers Baseball Club will be fielding one team.
The Club will compete in some of the best elite Tournaments in the United States, which may include: Darien Lake Tournament in NY, Backyard Classic in Cooperstown NY, Cedar Point Ohio, among others. We train and compete while participating in elite tournaments that will take place in the spring and summer.
The Ontario Tigers attracts athletes with a passion and talent for baseball who want to challenge themselves in a competitive, structured, and developmental environment. Our Tigers Baseball program strives to create a high-level learning baseball environment through systematic teaching of both baseball skill sets and gameplay. We don’t stop there. Our development goes beyond developing baseball players. We want to build and develop young children to become a valued future asset in their communities.
Our Ontario Tigers teams will train indoors at Fieldhouse Athletics, a 35,000+ sq ft. premier training facility for high-performance baseball development. Our programming includes an extensive winter program that focuses on all aspects of baseball, from individual skill levels to team concepts. We prepare our players for the upcoming season and beyond. All of our practices are well structured, fast-paced, and set up for our players to handle large volumes of play. Throughout our training, the health of our players is paramount.
The Ontario Tigers program gives the kids a break for the months of October through December, reconvening to full programming in January through April with Winter Training (some teams may participate in Fall Ball, at coaches' discretion). When the spring/summer tournament and gameplay season begins, we are ready to go. We are not a program that chases trophies. Although winning breeds success, our focus is to have fun. We believe this will be achieved through our program. Not only by teaching the game of baseball but by teaching kids core values such as respect for themselves, others, and the game. We preach hard work and dedication to the task at hand.
A Tigers player is expected to be tough, competitive, hard-working, a great student, a good person, aggressive, fearless, respectful, coachable, and always ready for a challenge.
